This program may reduce property taxes on your home and up to one acre of land by as much as $1,500. The Idaho State Tax Commission administers the Property Tax Reduction program, but you must apply through the county assessor’s office (I.C. 63-703). Please see the brochure and forms below.

Once signed by the Governor this bill would give homeowners an overall 10% tax break per year on property taxes. For instance a homeowner that pays $2,000/year would receive
a $200 break on taxes.
